Looking at the historical background of the region, Sindh was conquered by the Greeks in 325 BCE under the command of Alexander the Great, and later by different empires across the Medieval Era, the British Era, and the Egyptian Era, into the modern era.
Due to these many empires and eras under different rulers, many nations and tribes now live in Sindh, including followers of Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism, and others.
